Is it normal for my LO to be wanting less milk?

My little girl is 7 and a half months and is has now been on 3 meals a day for about a week now and she only seems to want me when she is tired during the day.She only stays on me now for about 20 mins but she seems to have a longer feed before bed and during the night and first thing in the morning.I know eventually the feeds ould drop down but im thinking maybe she is still to young for her to drop her feeds down prehaps?I do keep trying to offer her the boob but she refuses unless she askes for it so i cant do anything about it.My partner says just give it to her when she asks for it and dont worry about it to much.Just wondering what you guys think?

Yes, they do drop them quite rapidly!! Oliver did it too. He now has a long breakfast and supper feed and a short drink mid afternoon and thats it. My hv said that once he is freely drinking from a sippy cup, he'll probably drop the daytime one too. My poor boobs didn't know what had hit them !!!

It feels quite sad in a way that she doesnt need me that much in that respect and the fact she is growing up so fast

I have just started weaning but I am so scared of losing that bond I get from bfing. I hope it doesn't happen too quickly for us xxx

My LO was just the same from about 7 months. Morning and night here now and never during the day Good job I'm having another so I can start over with it !!!
