Is it normal that my 9 month old drinks so much

My 9 month old is drinking around 5 times in the day and on a good night 3 times however I'm becoming a walking zombie, her cot doesn't have the Side on and is push against mine as they are the same height as ATM in a1 bed flat, and I find myself that tired sometimes I'm feeding her and dot realise, I keep trying to make her have water to stop her waking, is it normal for her to wake so much? She has 3 meals a day aswell x

Absolutely normal. I was really struggling with my LO who is also 9 months old. She has never slept through the night, but she started nursing constantly non stop through the night. I was exhausted.

I called my cousin who is a La Leche League leader for advice, and she assured me its totally normal (not that it makes it any easier) but 9 months is a big growth spurt.

My LO is also so distracted during the day she nurses much less, and makes up for it at night time.

Again, doesn't make it any easier I know, but you are not alone!
