I didn't have this with my other pregnancies but I feel really achy and crampy specially in the evening its worrying is it normal at nearly 16 weeks to feel crampy?

I'd say it's totally normal, as I've had regular cramping every few weeks due to all the stretching going on in there. If you're worried just give your midwife a call

I agree. I've experienced lots of cramping and stretching even ending up in L&D because it was so scary but my doctor said it's normal growing pain and that it's probably round ligament pain. You can always ask your doctor or midwife.

My last pregnancy I'd get pains so bad I swore I was in labor, turns out when they got that bad I was dehydrated each time, they'd give me an Iv and the cramps would stop..... Finally I learned my lesson lol. When I start cramping bad this time around. Start chugging anything I can get down.... I get really sick during my pregnancies so drinking isn't a fun thing for me:/ I think I'm drinking enough but it's not nearly enough for a prego..... Try drinking a liter of water and see if they subside?

I would say it is normal, at least from what I have read and experienced myself. I not only had cramping in the uterus area, but I also had it through both sides of my legs. It seems to come and go by week for me. If you are really worried about it, I would call your ob / midwife to ease your mind.
