i think if you'd say it to a man, you'd say it to a woman. it's not about the person you're saying it to, i think it's more about the person saying it.
No I don't think so. Someone said to my OH a few years back 'wow you've got fat haven't you' and he took major offence to it. Guys don't tend to show their feelings as much as women but it doesn't mean it doesn't hurt inside.
He's since become obsessed with going to the gym and I think its mainly due to insecurities about his body, even though he's really muscly now and doesn't have an ounce of fat on him he's still not happy
I think it's awful the way people presume that men don't have emotions and can't get their feelings hurt. Men can be just as conscious about how they look.
