Hi All,
I'm new to formula feeding, please can you give me some advice. I have an 8 week old baby who is not gaining enough weight through BF alone, so I have been advised by my health visitor to supplement her with formula milk, which I am having to do three times a day.
But was wondering for convenience, do you know if we are able to boil some fresh water and add to a bottle for use later on, if we are having a day out say. I have recently brought some of the Tommee Tippee milk powder dispensers (which hold the formula powder inside the bottles prior to mixing) so I am planning on using these, but was wondering about the water situation. Will the water still be okay to use after a couple of hours if I warm it up through standing the bottle in hot water for a couple of minutes. How do you all do it when your out and about. I know you can buy the ready mixed formula milk, but I would like to use the powder.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks girls
