Is it possible to conceive naturally with very low amh?

HI ladies. I would really be grateful for any thoughts/stories etc of whether you think it is possible to conceive naturally with very low amh? I am 42 and on a waiting list (actually several lol) for ED. The clinic asked me to have my amh bloods done to see if I could go for ivf with my own eggs but the results were low (didnt give me the actual figure). They asked me to go for antral follicle scan but we have decided on ED - gives us the best chance of success at our age and we can't afford to have several goes at ivf.
But...the waiting list is up to a year and we are still ttc naturally before then. Hoping for a miracle you could say! I've tried to read up on amh but so far haven't found much reassurance. Any personal success stories would be brilliant!

I would call them back and ask for your specific number. Definitely find out what that is.

I have read TONS and there are definitely many success stories of women naturally conceiving with low amh. It definitely happens and more than you think.

It is possible, but the combination of less eggs/low amh and poorer quality/greater aneuploidy with age isn't good i'm afraid and general means lower fecundity.

That said, it can and does happen and you have to be in it to win as they say!

I would call and get your number, how low is low?

Thanks girls. Not sure what the number is. Going to the clinic on Monday so will ask. Pleased we have a plan to try for baby number 2 through ED next year but also hoping that it will happen naturally. Everything else appears fine and I have had a lot of tests! Got the impression the level was average for my age.
