Just wondering... I have PCOS, I had to have fertility treatment to conceive DD, 2 x 50mg clomid did nothing, but 100mg clomid worked, I ovulated 3 times on 100mg but failed to fall pregnant, but a stroke of luck, a month off meds and mind off baby making fell pg with my daughter so basically clomid kick started my ovaries into ovulating naturally
and even better, since having my daughter, I've been having periods. Whereas before I had absoluyely no cycles at all for nearly a year without the help of meds.
now obv I can't guarantee I'm definitely ovulating, but my cycles are roughly every 40 days, I've had the odd really long one (60 odd) and short one (27) but according to my app, average is about 43 days? I've never been on contraception since having DD but I wouldn't say we were really trying either... I'm just wondering if people do fall pregnant with a 40 odd day cycle?? I'm thinknig of going to the doctors soon to ask to be referred to a fertility specialist again, I would like another baby and from what I remember the process of being referred can be quite lengthy...? if I can conceive naturally though, that would be fantastic
