I'm on a complaining mission! We use huggies superdry nappies in the nursery I work in and I thought they were fab so when they were in offer at the Tesco baby event, I jumped at the chance to buy them!

First one I put on him felt damp after 2 hours...by time I had got in from the shop, he was soaked. That was 20 mins later.

I persevered but they all kept doing it. Yesterday was the final straw. we went to a wedding and I'd put rylan in a gorgeous shirt, trendy low fastening tie and a pair of jeans....he looked amazing! Well I changed him at 3:30....wedding was at 4, were outside having photos at 4:45...but me and Rylan won't be in any of the pics coz he was soaked....all up his back and everything :-(

Is it worth me emailing to complain how rubbish there nappies are?? Luckily I've still got a. Few pampers left but I'll be sticking with them from now on!

From what iv heard pampers are best for boys and huggies for girls, you could email them.i would, but be prepared for a rubbish or none existent reply, and probably the offer of vouchers for more huggies lol xxx

Some nappies just don't work for some babies  We love huggies and I think pampers are shite. You probably shouldn't complain, just try another brand until you find what works.

The only nappies i have ever used on my little girl that leaked almost every time i tried them were huggies. Even asda little angels work really well. We stuck with pampers in the end and hardly ever have leaks...we have never had a pee leakage hehe x

Erm no Huggies aren't for girls my baby girl leaked through do many times I switched to pampers!

Sorry that your little mans wedding outfit getting soaked.

I hate huggies superdry - I tried them with ds1 and had the same problems you have experienced.I think different nappies suit different babies.

Unfortunately I think even if you complained they would only send you a voucher for huggies nappies or replacements, so you would just have more useless nappies lying around!

I find huggies rubbish too except for the newborn ones, we used them as soon as LO was born. We use pampers now but tried huggies again recently cos they were on offer and they were terrible! They leaked constantly, very disappointing but some people say they love them so I think every baby suits a different nappy. I would complain! xo

only hugies work for my little girl pampers leak and giver her a rash

We only use huggies in work, boys and girls and ive never experienced this before! Oh well, instead of spending £5-7 on nappies I've had to spend double that....no orange Wednesday for us this week lol

We complained about Huggies size 1 nappies, as when we went to put them on dd2 5 out of the packet had big clumps of glue so couldn't be used it wasn't until after I emailed my complaint that I realised they were freebies anyway :haha:, anyway they were really apologetic and sent me £7 worth of vouchers - the good thing about the vouchers is they don't just have to be used on nappies, they are Kimberly Clarke (the owners of huggies) vouchers so I used mine to buy a load of Andrex toilet roll when it was on special offer :haha:. Personally I hate huggies, had massive leaks with both of my girls' but as pp said the size1 and 2's are okay

I complained to Higgies about them nappies and they sent me £15 vouchers out. I bought wipes with them instead as the nappies were terrible stained most of her clothes as didnt hold any thing you can also spend them on andrex products

I HATE Huggies. They are always on offer (says something) and I bought about 200 newborn organic nappies whilst I was pregnant with my first. I wasted SO many beautiful outfits due to leakages. Appalling nappies and about 150 of them are stashed under the cot!
Pampers all the way, in 15 months using Pampers we have only had a few leakages with those due to poo explosions!

I complained to Huggies too, I was had brought my one and only pack when I was pregnant, and they leaked everywhere, especially at night which meant I had to completely strip her each night and it woke her up and I was shattered.

They sent me £15 vouchers, but they worked for andrex as well so I brought toilet roll instead, in fact they were on offer 4 for £2 so I got the rest off my bill, was v.pleased!!

On a side note, I found Pampers alright, never really noticed any particular smell, but were expenisve. I've since switched to Little Angels (asda) and we very rarely have any leaks.

I just have the opposite problem. Been using pampers for a while on my 4 month old boy and they have been leaking and are useless. Switched to huggies and no more problems! Maybe these babies bodies are made differently and some nappies structure and fit suits some babies and not others? I also had friends recommend huggies after they had problems with pampers, so go figure.

Maybe try a completely different brand like asda's own or tesco perhaps? Just because some nappies are cheaper and you can only buy in one place doesn't mean they won't suit your particular baby?

I used huggies newborn and loved them! Then I brought some of the super dry on offer. Well what load of rubbish!! I ended up taking half box back for a refund and also emailed huggies to complain. They replied apologising blah blah and asked for my address to send vouchers which I did. About 4 months on I am still waiting on them. Lmao. I emailed to chase but no reply so never bothered. We now use asdas little angels as pampers also leaked for my lo

xx

Aw that's rubbish! I had a box of huggies newborn size 2 at first they were terrible then a few weeks later i tried them and they were fine. I think it all depend on size of your baby how big there thighs are etc. I've now switched to pampers simply dry and couldnt praise them more there brill! However ive seen some ladies say there terrible so I really do think it depends on baby. I think all you will get from a complaint is vouchers to buy more nappies which you won't want so I'd just switch brands.

We didn't get onto well with huggies either
Me and LO slept on the sofa one night and I woke up to finding him with a big patch of wetness and some on the sofa :|

1 hour today before he was damp and 1 wee in nappy! Am waiting in for a delivery (rylans new fancy high chair!) so had to chance them. At least it got him out of the horrible outfit daddy put him in this morning lol

I use huggies wipes (the green ones) so if I get sent vouchers, they will be used!

I used one of the wipes on my face washing my make up off last night and my skin feels nice and soft and not as tight ad usual lol x

We're on our second jumbo pack of Pampers simply dry, and I think they're great! The 96 nappies we get last us a little over two weeks and they're cheap as chips at Tesco. I just have them delivered with the food shop. I was actually looking to try Huggies super dry when we got these, but Tesco didn't carry a big box, and I was tired of running all the way into town every few days for nappies. Guess I lucked out, because it sounds like they might have been a waste. I did love Huggies newborn nappies, though. They leaked much less for us than the pampers ones did.

It's probably worth complaining for the the vouchers since you can spend them on toilet roll or wipes even if you don't want the nappies.

It's so different for each baby. Pampers were useless on LO, so we swapped to huggies, which were better, but they started leaking around 5 weeks at every nappy change. That's when we put him in cloth (we'd had the cloth since birth, but it was for 8lbs8oz and above, and he was nowhere near that at 7lbs 1oz!). We now use natibaby eco nappies over night, and cloth during the day (well, except this week, as our washing machine is broken, so he's in sposies all day)
