Ok, so I've been waiting for my AF to come...it should have come one or two weeks earlier, but my cycles are quite crazy anyway, so I'm happy if it comes within a month in the first place.

Anyway, 2 to 3 days ago, I started spotting. At first I only needed a panty liner, but then I used a normal flow pad later...sorry if its TMI.

But now I'm back to using a panty liner, because there's hardly anything. Just brown, dried spotting. Sometimes heavier, sometimes lighter.

It looks like its stopping. Argh..... I'm on Metformin and recently increased my dosage to 2,000mg. Does Metformin cause less AF? I usually have 3-4 days of heavy flow and that's it. But heavy, like bright red. And this time, it looks like just brown spotting. Argh..... Any ideas anybody?

sorry hun, not much help but didn't want to read and run!
spotting is not AF to my knowledge...you need to have a flow- this is what the fertility clinics tell you.....
no idea abot metmorfin...hope someone else can help...
good lucK!!!!

Thanks a lot brumbar. So nice to have one response to my post!! :) Yeah I think I'll just have to wait until more AF comes. :)

Hmmm.. I don't know about metformin either but definately, CD1 is the day of full flow. I spot for 3-5 days before every AF, sometimes its pinkish then it gets brownish etc. I feel your annoyance!! = ) hope your cycles regulate for you hon xxxxx
