is mcdonalds ok?

Yeah midwife told me no to mcflurrys but burgers and stuff are fine x

we usually dont eat out, but the couple times we have mcdonalds is what i want! oh man sometimes you just need something greasy!

Hi thankyou for the advice
I did end up having mcdonalds, in the end today. As I felt strangely that it may be better
Than having a roll from subway with cold meats in, or buying a sandwhich elsewhere.

Tbh, I only ate half the burger and gave the chips to my friends as it was making me feel sick

I'm panicing so much on what I can and can't eat its unreal.
What stuff is ok?
Tonight I've got tuna jacket potato with mayonaise, the mayo is safe I read the ingredients, and I know
Your allowed tuna but limited, I only have it once a week if that
What stuff would you not reccomend me having?

Thankyou xxx

oooooooooooooooh!!!!!!! now i want a macdonalds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the nearest one is about 10 miles away! :sad1:

McDonalds is fine, with one exception - the Ice-cream (McFlurry etc) - you are not supposed to eat soft ice-cream (even the Mr Whippy type from the ice-cream van). Milkshakes are fine (i have been craving them the last few months).

This is going to sounds horrible but with my first pregnancy from week 4-12 i had really bad all day nausea and mcdonalds cheese burgers were the only thing i could eat. It was horrible but my daughter turned out just fine and i still ate the junior chickens with majo and all that. I will admit i ate way to much of it.

Hi,
Me too, i love whippy ice cream but its out now as we carnt have whippy icecream, also no liver/liver pate, no more than 2 portions of oily fish ie salmon makerel per week, tuna no more than 4 tins per week, no un cooked shell fish, any pre prepared salads need to be washed, no bloody meats, nothing with raw eggs in it(so carnt lick the cake mix out of the bowl)the the midwife gave me a leaflet of dont's in early preg, and all these were on it, apart from that i say everything in moderation, a mcdonalds now+again mmmmmmmmmm
xx

ive had the milkshake! its fine they clean it out and it pasurised,, u cant have the Mr whippy from the van cause they dont have regulations on how long to keep the ice cream in there

Theres no nutrition in it for either u or baby but as a treat, i've known a few people to enjoy the odd Mcdonalds. Tho the milkshakes and mcflurrys i've heard are not safe

I just has McD, it is the only " meat " I tolerate these days! Damn and I was thinking of getting one ice cream cone later ;)

On a side note about McDonalds -- does anyone know what kind of pickles they use? They're delicious. I went to the store and bought 4 jars of pickles, but none were as good as the McDonalds ones. It was pretty disappointing... the hubby thinks I've lost my mind.

Ladies, I hate to tell you this, but McDonald's is totally terrible stuff for you...and your baby!!!!!

You can get better quality salt (celtic), fat (nitrate free bacon? avocados), carbs (sweet potatoes?) and protein elsewhere.
--------------------------

So have to agree with the above, McDonalds is truly horrendous, the meat is very poor quality and it is full of salt, sugar and hormones (the animals are full of added hormones to bulk them up), please try and find alternatives, baby will thank you for it and so will your heart in the long run!

xx

I eat McDonalds for breakfast through out the week. I guess I need to limit myself.
