Is my baby eating enough????

Sometimes she only has like 1 oz, sometimes 2 and sometimes 3....

Sometimes an hour between feeds, sometimes 2 and sometimes 3. lol... Last night she had one 4 hour gap.

Im so worried about her not eating enough because she was in the hospital for 2 weeks and part of her problem was eating. They sent her home saying she is eating fine now but I worry... I wish I could have her weighed every day!!!

She is eating some formula and also some breast milk (out of a bottle)

She is 3 weeks old on Monday.

Honestly to me sweetie she sounds like she is doing just fine and as long as the health visitors aren't worried I would just try not to worry about it too much xxxxxxxxx

Rebecca snacks rather than finishes bottles and I tend to keep an eye on the day's totals rather than individual feeds. If she's eating a sensible amount by the end of the day i don't worry how many feeds she's taken to do it!

As others have said, if the HVs aren't worried and she's gaining weight then try not to worry (easier said than done - I know!!)

well, now she is taking up to 3 oz a feed, and sometimes throwing up. Im so worried all the time haha. The nurse is coming by today though so she will be weighed and I can make sure she is doing ok

Ellie does the same - she snacks and it means I always end up making 3oz bottles but she may take 1oz, or 2 or 3 and sometimes I have to do more and she takes 4...

I don't monitor it at all as I think I'd go crazy - she's gaining weight really well and she has a good amount of wet and poopy nappies which is all that matters.
