Is there a waiting list for IUI in the UK?

Ladies

Just wondering whether there is a waiting list for IUI in the UK as there is for IVF?

My OH had been diagnosed with low motility and low normal form swimmers and we have a hosp appt next week with FS but was just wanting to know in the meantime.

I would hate to have to wait years for it!

The individual clinics have waiting lists (on the NHS at least). Our initial appt was march, then we went on the waiting list and started in december.

i have been told the waiting list at the clinic we are having treatment at is 3-4 weeks so not bad at all.

As with IVF hun, it depends on where you live. Each PCT can vary hugely

We went on our waiting list at the end of April and were told it would take about 9 months.
