Is there still hope this month? Support/Advice Please!

I've really thought I was going to get my bfp this month and had an unexpected trip to the hospital last night. I desparately want someone to tell me there's still hope, but need someone to let me know realistically.

I had a lap and hysteroscopy the end of July and started Clomid the very end of August. A scan last week showed two follicles the same size (one in each ovary) estimated to ovulate on this past saturday.

We last Thursday and again Saturday around 5pm. I woke up Sunday morning at 4:30am with cramps-- I think the right side may have ovulated then. But then 3pm on Sunday afternoon I got horrible pain on my left side and went to the hospital around 9pm as it became horribly unbearable.

After being poked and prodded a dozen times -- with an internal exam and a transvaginal ultrasound, they think I had some bleeding with the ovulation. There was fluid outside my ovary, and a small cyst they think is from the ovulation.

We were supposed to today as well, but I only got home after an exhausting night a short while ago.

Do I still have hope do you think? I had gastroenteritis the end of August as well, and loads of stress at work-- had to leave my job. And was still so hopeful, but worried that all of this prodding may have interfered.

It's best to BD just before ovulation, i've heard, rather than afterwards so you're in with a good chance. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks! I suppose at least I have an excuse now if it didn't work this month. Because they had to do an exam, swab & ultrasound at the hospital and it was the night after we and the same day as ovulation, i just keep worrying that all the poking and prodding interfered with conception. But finally feeling a little better today. I guess I will keep on hoping for now...
