Hello, ladies.

Many of you probably know my story by now as I'm always posting about it lol but here is a little history. I had a mmc in July (let it happen naturally) and have had messed up cycles ever since. We ttc last cycle and it ended up with me getting what I thought was AF on Sept. 30th. The bleeding ended 2 days ago but then last night I started to get really light headed and dizzy, almost the same feeling I had when I was miscarrying, and some mild cramping. I was surprised to find that I had started bleeding again by this evening. It was brown stringy blood but still more than I would consider "spotting".

I have been taking opks the last few days from the day I thought AF was ending so my first instinct was to take an opk to make sure I wasn't ovulating early, as I bled a little during ovulation last cycle. The line was starting to get darker the last couple days but the opk I took today had no hint of a line at all. It was stark white negative.

I followed up with an hpt. It was a :bfn: but I will go on to mention that I had very faint squinter lines which I thought were just evaps and a few dye runs, which I sometimes get the day before I got my BFP in the past, though they never developed into a true BFP.

My questions are, to those who have had a chemical or know anything about chemicals, what are the signs? Do you have a longer than usual period? Also is it possible to have a chemical and not get a positive test?

Any help would be greatly appreciated :) Sorry about the long post...

After my D&C in June (my body wouldn't miscarry naturally as I bled for 2 1/2 months >.>) I would feel dizzy, almost like vertigo in the middle of my cycles. My cycles are so messed up now as well, they last only 24-26 days as opposed to my 28-32 days T_T I actually think I was ovulating during my AF >.< because the bleeding lasts so long now.

I was told it could take a few cycles for your body to get back on track. I'm no longer feeling dizzy in between cycles so I'm hoping this is the month I get my BFP. I'm finally starting to get my normal signs of ovulating so I think my cycles are getting back on track.

Hi lilmisscaviar!

I've had one early mc which I think is probably considered a chemical. For me, I did have BFPs, but they were more like VFPs (very faint positives). I tested a couple of days after AF was due - faint line. I tested 2 days later - again, faint line. 3 days later: very faint line. That evening I started bleeding :-/ At the time I was 5.5 weeks pregnant, and I think implantation never properly occurred. My period that time was heavier than normal, and I usually get bad cramps but those cramps were a bit worse than usual.
Hope that helps... hope you can get some answers soon.

Thank you both for your replies and input. As an update, the bleeding lasted a total of 11 days but I had a positive opk so I think it was just a weird period. I don't think I would ovulate on CD14 if it were a chemical. I guess it is my body still adjusting from my miscarriage. Praying this was just a one time thing and hopefully my cycles will be more normal from now on.
