New to using opks. I feel like a always get a second line of some sort after a few minutes, but tonight this showed up this dark right away, within seconds. Is this positive?

I'm sorry this doesn't look positive. It is normal to always have a second line (I always do).
For it to be positive, the test line must be equally as dark, or darker than the control line. It is still too light to be positive, sorry. Perhaps tomorrow it will be positive.

You are definitely close to ovulating, and you could have a very short surge. I know I never hit my surge dead on, I take my opk tests the week of ovulation, I can see them gradually get darker, and then get lighter again, but I have never gotten one darker than the control. If you have a short surge you could just be testing at the wrong time. Hope that helps.
