Is this a stye?

oh god ladies - i'm so over being ill right now!!!
i'm off work recovering from an infection in my heart and since monday i've had a vomiting bug and now i've woken up with what looks like a frickin stye on my eye!!!

its a yellow lump on the inside rim of my upper eylid. its really painful when i blink or shut my eyes and the rest of the eye lid is startnig to swell. i used to get them all the time when i was little but i don't remember as i was too young.

does this sound like a stye? any home remedies anyone can recomend?

yes its a stye. and this is going to sound insane but i promise it works...wash you eye out with baby shampoo. it has to be shampoo though, not the all over wash or anything. it hurts alot when you do it but it will be better when you wake up! i suffer from styes all the time and this is the best way to get rid of them. also be sure to toss any makeup that touches your eyes.
