Is this normal?

I am 22 weeks along with my first baby. For about 6 weeks now I have had white crusties on my nipples. I have assumed this is just milk. or whatever comes before milk and was just wondering if this is normal to have it so early. It smells of milk, its thick. I just want to make sure this isnt an infection and that its normal. It happens daily.

Sounds like milk to me! Well, colostrum.. You're quite early on but everyone's different. I didn't get this 'til the last couple of weeks.

I had it early on, totally normal x

I already had it at my first full physical exam (I was 12 weeks). They were a bit surprised it was so early but said it didn't look like an infection. If you're at all concerned then just ask, it took all of 5 seconds of close inspection for my doctor to rule out an infection.

I had it at 16 weeks, it was colostrum, totally normal
