Not used this test before so not sure what a positive on these will look like is this positive?

test again in about 8 hours it should be darker (hopefully) id say no but soon it should be yes.

I tested again..but the opks second line was barely visible so not really sure what to make of it.. Only ever used digi opks before!

Thanks ladies, I used a opk again this morning and the line is barely there could I have missed ovulation??

It looks like the test you took could have just caught the end of your surge. Did you BD? You normally ovulate a minimum of 12 hours after your surge.

We BD Monday evening and all over the weekend, hoping that was enough because dh now has man flu so no chances now

That definitely looks positive nw! Just bed again for next 3 days if u can promise dh u'l gv hm a good massage afterwards lol

Definitely positive! Sounds like your body tried to ovulate the other day and wasn't able to, so now it's having another go. Looks like its succeeded too

that's what I was afraid of, no chance with dh now he's got man flu might be lucky Friday but guessing it'll be too late then so think I'll count myself out now

You can ovulate anywhere between 12 and 36 hours after your surge......and his little swimmers can live in you for up to 5 days. You're not out yet. Good luck x

I'm really interested to follow this. Last night I had an OPK that looked like your first one, and then this morning one that looked like your second. I just hope I now get one that looks like your third!!!!

Hi ladies to tested again this afternoon when I got back from work, the opk is deffo a positive one, so the last 2 days being positive and no dip in temp does this mean I haven't ovulated and probably haven't until I get the dip and a negative test again??

Wow!! Definitely positive today. I've done some research to make sure the info I give you is correct. This is what I found:

"Once the LH surge has been detected, successful fertilization is most likely to take place one to three days following the LH surge - with peak fertility at 36 hours post-LH surge."
There's also a bit that says:

"Another important aspect to keep in mind is that you are looking for the surge in hormones or the first positive ovulation test. Other positive ovulation tests after this one, i.e. multiple positives several days in a row should not be given importance. This is because the first test lets you know that ovulation should occur within 12-72 hours and intercourse during this time frame is very important if you want to become pregnant."
