It depends how you feel babe....you may underestimate how tired you may feel towards the end or how much you feel you need to prepare before birth. Do what's right for you, tell your employers that's your plan but that things may need to change.

i worked till 37weeks and it was a good time to finish for me because as soon as she started to engage i had terrible back ache. it depends what you do though, i was on my feel all day and started getting the look if they saw me have a little rest

My job was standing on my feet all day, didn't even get a lunch break but I still managed to work til 38 and a half wks. It's doable.

I finished work 4 weeks before my due date.However I had Lola 3 weeks early!

So basicly yeah,I finished one week before having her.But this is the reason why I wouldn't recommend you working till a week before your EDD,you never know what may happen.
