For about 2 weeks now at night if I need to turn over in bed or get out or make any movement, I get a very loud click in between my legs! I haven't worked out exactly where it's coming from but I'd definitely say pubic area. It's not really painful, however I have noticed I get back pain but only at night. I have absolutely no other symptoms whatsoever.

If I keep my legs together and turn, the clicking doesn't happen so it's definitely pelvis related. Is this likely to get worse? Could it be the start of SPD or is it normal?

Thanks

It sounds like it's your joints popping because they are extra flexible right now with all the relaxin your body is producing. I wouldn't say it's SPD per se, because there's no pain. But it's possible you will get pain from it eventually. I find lots of leg and piriformis stretches help me with my low back pain at night. I do them every night before bed.

Hmmm, not sure.. I get the clicking/popping moving about in bed, but I also get SPD discomfort/pain.
I do have a clicky hip even when not pregnant tho (just not as obvious), which causes zero pain.

I had SPD in both pregnancies and did get clicks but also excrutiating pain almost constantly. Hormones make your joints loosen up so it could be caused by that?

If there's no pain I would say just loose joints. I have sped and it's bloody agony, you would def know if you had it! X
