Ok so help please guys...... Yesterday was contracting all day thought omg this is it.... 40 +6 so well cooked by now....went to hospital everything slowed down and cervix was 2cm long, posterior and 2cm dilated, she gave me my 4th sweep made me bleed cheeky mare! Anyway came home got a few hours sleep.....contractions been coming again today, gradually regular and a damn site more painful, now they feel different from yesterdays, although my tummy goes rock hard etc which hurts its the pain in my bum & Foof massive amount of pressure that hurts most....are these contractions or just similar to what I have been having before....which is basically nothing xxx

Keep timing 5 in 1 hour will more than likely be labour. With DD1 mine started at 25 mins apart. With DD2 they were 2-4 mins apart from the start. Both labours felt completely different for me, I was even questioning my second labour.

If they're regular (in frequency, length and strength), and have been for an hour or two, then it may be labour

You should ring the hospital if/when they're every few minutes, lasting around a minute each, and have consistently all been like that for an hour or more. Good luck!
