Isabelle and Annabella siblings?

I know I've asked before but could do with some more opinions
Dd1 is Isabelle mainly goes by Izzy
We like Annabella for this baby, she would be known as Annie and would rarely be called Annabella it's just so she has a longer option.

What do you think?
Isabelle and Annabella - too similar? Or a nice sib set?

I've known a few families grown up with similar-named siblings.

One family had a son and a daughter, named Christer and Kristina. (They're swedish.) In high school, both of them went by 'Chris/Kris" so when they received a phone call asking for them, the parents had to ask if they wanted the boy or the girl

Some cousins of my moms in are sisters named Annette and Anna.

Me and my brother both have similar-ish names, both beginning with "Chris -"

So maybe its just me, but I dont think its such a big deal that they have similar endings. They're both beautiful names and they're probably your favourite two. So I say go ahead

If it's the only name that seems right then go for it!

I do agree that there are other names that can be shortened to Annie, though, so maybe try out some of those?

Izzy and Annie are super cute - I'd just worry they grow up and both want to be "Belle" or "Bella"

I do know siblings named Rosabella (Bella) and Gabriella though

Thanks everyone. We are considering just Annie but feel she should have the option. Isabelle gets belles but only by my dad she's izzy too everyone else.
So if Annabella did decide she wanted Bella (which I can't imagine will happen if she's grown up with Annie) then it wouldn't be a problem.
We will also likely introduce her as Annie rather than Annabella so it is literally just for the birth cert.
The other name we are considering is Eliza x

Isabelle and Eliza sound great together, but if it's Izzy and Lizey it might be too matchy (although super cute still!)

Isabelle and Annabella don't go IMO whereas Izzy and Annie does...

Isabelle and Ivy sound like the cutest sibset and Izzy & Ivy SO cute IMO!!

Funny you say that as we had considered Ivy but then a friend mentioned how it's her dream girls name so we decided against it.

I think we may just decide when she's born between Annie and Eliza x
