Does anyone have an isofix base for their car seat. I had one tried out in my car but I don't understand why the base lifts, I thought the idea was that it doesn't move at all. I can lift it quite easily, it's still
Attached by the isofix points on the seat but the front of it lifts. Any advise? X

I had one and intend to use it again this time. My husband fitted it and it definitely didn't lift at the front.
Can you take it to mothercare or halfords or somewhere I get them I fit it for you and show you properly?

My oh fitted ours but I'm sure it doesn't lift at all, can you get some one to professionally fit it for you?

Im pretty sure if u go to kiddicare or halfords they will make sure its fitted properly xx it prob depends on the car and the type of base xx

I wouldn't say our lifts a lot but it seems quite wobbly, not at all the solid fit I expected. Ours was checked & was fitted properly. I think the point of them is to keep the seat attached to the solid chassis of car therefore staying put in a crash not to completely stop all movement.

We had one with our daughter and it definitely isn't supposed to be able to move. I'd check it's fitted properly. I've got one for this one but I stupidly bought the wrong car seat so need to get another car seat now. Duhhhh, stupid baby brain ;)

With mine it had a bit of slack to reach in and 'grab' the isofix bits in the car, we then pushed it back towards the rear of the car which secured it properly. Mine also has a 'leg' on the front which folds down into the foot well. What make is yours? X
