I had yet another MC. Got pregnant in Feb. Miscarried in March. They thought it was ectopic so they went in for surgery. What actually ended uo happening qas that i had several different cysts. They didnt find a pregnancy in the tube, like they had originally thought they would find. Instead i had two large ovarian cysts. The right side, the cyst had ruptured. On the left side the large cyst was still there - both on my ovaries. So they removed it. Then they found three random cysts floating around my pelvic cavity. They were not attached to anything, just floating wherever they pleased. Everything was tested, its not cancerous, thankfully.
But anyways that was in March. My cycles went from long (34ish days) down to 28 days and ive never had that happen in my entire life. My periods improved greatly too. They were only three days of light flow and no cramping (before it was always like 6 or 8 days and at least 5 days of heavy flow w a lot of cramping). I also only had a 9 or 10 day LT Phase. I havnt charted in ages so i have no idea when im ov.ing now. But anyways, i have been taking OPKs. And we do the dirty almost on a daily basis. Nothing hapoened in March. Nothing happened in April. Nothing in May and my ajune cycle is almost up and ive had nothing but negatives on my OPKs and i have like no other signs of fertility.
I am dsicouraged. This wasnt my first MC. Or even my second. Ive also had three babies. I am only 29, a new 29. I had three kids from age 22 to 26. Ive breastfed. Ive done all types of BC too. At first, i thought oh well maybe its just my body trying to regulate....but this has never been this way in the past. I am so upset that im not even Oving. I. Was referred to fertility specialist but emotionally i dont think i can handle that.
Has one anyone else had issues after getting ovarian cysts or other types removed? Is it possible that the doc cut too much ovary off? Why am i having this problem? The doc gave me every indication that the surgery would help. As far as my period goes, it has basically cured my issues. Which i never thought would happen...but this is the first that ive seem to have "lost" my fertility. Is that a side effect of this surgery? Its been several months and im just getting frustrated with waiting to to Ov. Let alone get pregnant. I am certain that i ahve not ovulated since getting pregnant
