Issues with at home insemination

My husband and I have been doing at home insemination to cover all our basis because he has ED issues sometimes. Well last night I did insemination and there seemed to be a lot of semen that leaked out. However, a few minutes ago when I went to the bathroom some more leaked out.. does that mean that some of it stayed in there all night?

Sounds like it! There is a thread on here somewhere about AI. I wouldn't be too worried, I did an insem once where loads came out and I got pregnant that month with only that insem.

YAY! We tried it last month. Only on cd 14 and then af came 4 days early, so obviously I ovulated early last month. I am currently on cd 10 and I plan on doing it or bd every other day until cd 20. Maybe it will work this month. I got a small amount of ewcm yesterday.. exciting.

I know this threads a little old, but I'm having issues too. I'm on my 3rd month of trying with Clomid (I've been trying for over a year now). I tried yesterday with my donor sperm, and i'm going to try again today and tomorrow. After inseminating (i'm using a monoject 412 type), I found that I got a whole bunch of leakage that came out immediately as I pulled the syringe out. At least it felt like a lot. Am I doing something wrong? I just switched to these syringes from regular 5cc types because the other ones weren't long enough, and I didn't think i was reaching my cervix.
I used to use the Instead cup, but I found that if I put the semen in the cup, and then tried to insert, I just made a big mess. A lot of it would squeeze out from the top upon insertion. I'm back to just putting some preseed in and on the syringe, inseminating, and laying back with my bum in the air for a bit. Not sure what else I could be doing to help, but it sure is getting frustrating.
