Its been 2 years!!!

Hi all, im 22 years old and have been trying to conceive for the past 2 years and getting very frustrated as ive read as im this young im supposed to be at my most fertile! anyway i also read some stuff about Agnus Castus which i bought last September and took for three months and still nothing didnt help regulate my cycles either! i had one scare in January 2011 where i didnt come on for three months but 6 HPTs later still nothing ! (which prompted me to buy agnus castus) my periods are irregular ranging from about 31-37 days but apart from the 3mth thing nothing out of the ordinary im really getting fed up here and really want to be pregnant for mine and hubbys sake but i dont know what to do anymore so heartbreaking just knowing AF is coming every month i want to try herbal/natural remedies before going to docs ive read alot of reviews on Pregnacare but how long does it really take to get pregnant using this? any info would be much appreciated xx

Hi hun, I see you said you didn't want to go to the docs but it is the only way of knowing if you or your husband is in need of medical intervention. The whole process is so long and tiring it would be in your interests to start the ball rolling on that asap x

Firstly, I'm sorry you're having difficulties I'm 24 and have been TTC for 29months now and NTNP for about 10 before that, so I feel your frustration with my supposed young fertile body!!

I think what charbaby said is right, I understand people not wanting medical intervention and preferring natural methods, but it could be something very simple that the doctors will pick up on straight away and help you with, or you could be diagnosed with something and find out that you could be trying for 10years, but without medical help it would be very difficult.(hopefully not!)

Frustratingly we are 'unexplained' infertility, but in the past 14 months of being under a fertility specialist, we've had 3 appointments. Its a very long drawn out and tiring process, and I agree getting it started ASAP would maybe help.

That aside, I took pregnacare for about 5 months, and nothing no sticky bean for me. When I spoke to FS she said along as you're taking folic acid regularly, thats all we really need, but thats once you know all other hormone levels are OK, which you maybe don't know without having tests done first.

No one likes bad news, but it's better to find out now while you're young and have time/options to deal with it! It could be something very simple!

I have irregular periods too mimi, I went to my doctor and he suspected it was Polycystic Ovaries and he was right.
They will likely give you blood tests and send you a scan to look at your ovaries and uterus and they can help you from there. They will send your partner for a sperm analysis.
I'm taking Pregnacare conception and my DH is on Wellman Conception. It's good to know you're getting all the vitamins your body needs to be at its healthiest to conceive.

Im in the same boat, in less than a week it will be 2 years for me. No BFP at all, I been extremely irregular so at 1 year I went and found out that over the past 2 years, it boils down to a hormonal imbalance.

I have low thyroid, irregular periods, had 3 U/S, HSG, on Progesterone, Clomid.Also blocked left tube.

No PCOS, no endo. No physical reason why I cant get pregnant.

I am now reffered to a fs, both wont hear for months, plus it takes months even years to have an appointment.

Ps: My husband is completly normal, in fast super fertile.
