its hard to pick a name based on a surname

ive just been looking at names, i like jayden for a boy only trouble is is that his last name would then be jones, jayden jones, doesnt sound right to me what does anyone else think? and does anyone else find this to be a stumbling block when thinking of a name and what goes with the surname

Try and find a name that goes with "Trout" makes jones seem like a walk in the park!!

Can't have any A names - A.trout
nor any C names - C.trout

love the names toby and Charlie but can't have them either!! Lol

I def think surname factors in when choosing a 1st name... but personally think that combo sounds ok!

i think jayden jones is lovely, but if youre finding difficulties with it what about jordan jones? that sounds just as nice. NN could be JJ.
i feel sorry for the poor bugger that named my grandad's best mate as he was Morris Morris!!! xx

My OH and I are naming our son, Jaxon Dean Jones (have to follow a family tradition of first born son having intials JDJ). We actually considered the name Jayden.

Over all I think Jayden Jones sounds good together though! Go for it!
