So OH and I found out we were having a girl.

And even though I tried and tried to think of a name
for my little girl none fit as well as;

Ivy Elizabeth.

Its HER name, not my favourite name, not the name
I always thought I would name my daughter but HER name.
No other name even the most beautiful ones feels as RIGHT.

Ivy Elizabeth is a beautiful choice . My DD is called Violet. I've wanted to call my daughter Isobel for a long long time and it took a week of going back and forth between that and Violet to decide. I loved being the only person I knew with my name when I was younger. I didn't want DD to have 2 other kids in her class with the same name which is what would probably have happened if she was Isobel.
In the end I thought about what she would choose and not what I wanted (just like you did) so she became Violet

Thats how I feel about the name vienna. Not something I thought I would choose seeing as I heard it a few years ago and didnt care for it. But now we are trying to find something different because everyone thinks she would get made fun of because of the whole vienna sausage crap....So annoying.
