I hope I'm ok posting here, I figured I might find some more LTTTCers that have had experience with this.
DH and I have been TTC for 10 months and we are getting to the point where we are beginning to accept we may be in this for the long-ish term. I appreciate we aren't past the 12 month mark yet but I'm 1 cycle away.
Anyway, DH is in the military. His job is fairly unpredictable and we don't know when he'll be away again next. But we have a fairly good idea that in January he'll be deployed for a few months to a country with Zika. By this time if we aren't pregnant we will have been trying beyond the 12 month mark. They're expecting that he'll be away until March 2017 followed by a 6 month period of protected sex. It's also uncertain if he will be deployed for 6-12 months at the end of 2017 as well.
So to cut a long story short, if we don't get pregnant before January then we will potentially be waiting until the end of 2018!
We've been talking about our options and maybe freezing his goods and starting IUI during this time. Has anyone got any advice or experience of this?
