ive had a scare TMI

i found out at 11 week id had a mmc and opt for the pills and not the D&C this time, so i went in hosp on the 14th of feb (of all days) and passed so much stuff it even scared the staff so they had to keep me in and drip me up ect i almost got taken to have a op to stop the blood it was so bad at one point, the bleeding went to a bad AF the next day so they sent me home ive been getting brown blood since, untill yesterday it started red again and i was getting really bad pains and couldnt move from the bathroom.

As soon as i got home i started passin melon size clots and the blood was like a tap was truned on has this happen to any one else?? i rang the hosp and they said that it could be my AF!!!!!!! as if its been just over a week....they were no help at all i had a scan booked for the 10th of march but ive bugged them to have it next week, im praying thats it now

Oh my hun im so sorry your still suffering with this, tell them they need to do something for you sweetie, surely all this heavy clotting blood cant be healthy, hope you get answers soon hun xx

it could have been your period i always get my period staright after but blood clots the size of a melon.. that is just abnormal.. are you sure they were melon size because if the dr new that and didnt take you in hes a pratt... you should lose any kind of clots anywhere near that big mine were all as big as a 10 p pence thats all... if its still bad go to a&e

yesterday i would have a big bleed then 1st clots i had were about 10p size and the blood would stop abit then id feel the blood again and the next set of clots were apple sized then as i got home i had 3 very very big clots (they might of been small melons haha) but they were so big it felt like i was giving birth. as soon as i pasted the last one the blood was stopping and ive had hardly any since, when i was in the hosp the clots were the same aswell

Oh my days that sounds awful. Why don't doctors and nurses seem tocare when this stuff is happening? Thye prob see it every day but for us it is a major thing and some reassurance would not go a miss. grr makes me cross.

This happend to me! It was like 5 days later.. I think the pills started to induce the mc.. and then later is when I miscarried naturally - my body was getting rid of what the pills didnt.. (Im guessing.. I have no clue actually!) I told my dr.. and she said it was normal.. WHAT IS NORMAL!!!

Just when you think it is all over.. it starts again.. I have looked up this pill.. and this is common when taking the pill. It sucks! It was soo much worse the 2nd time.. I hope it ends quickly.. after the pain and bleed started the second time.. it was the next day when I passed the sac..

cant imagine what you are going through for you and take it really easy for a couple of days,sounds like your body has been through a great deal

Sorry to hear what you're going through, I passed clots a couple of times before my m/c and OMG how scary that was, I'd never seen anything like it.

If you are struggling to walk as you are in that much pain hun I would go to A&E and if you feel necessary demand a scan just so they can check whats happening inside.

Hi there, I know exactly what you are going through.

I had a mmc diagnosed at 13 weeks a few years ago.
I bled so much, blood and jelly like stuff that I ended up passing out. I had been in hospital all day but different nurses kept coming in to take away my toilet bowl full of stuff, so no-one realised how much I had lost until it was too late. When I passed out, I was wheelchaired (almost naked!) to another room and the sac was removed for me. It hurt like hell, no pain relief or anything, but as soon as it was out I felt a million times better. I bled like a normal period for about a week after.

If you are still passing clots and continuous blood, I would say the sac is not out yet. I don't think you should have been let out of hospital.

Oh hun that sounds dreadful. I think you should call the doc again because it doesn't sound 'normal' at all. If you are passing clots that big surely you should be at the hospital?

Oh hon I dont think they should have let you out of hospital if you were passing clots that were that big.
If you feel worried or like somethings really not right I would definitely get on the phone to the doctor again and say you're REALLY worried.

Jemma, you don't know how close I was to also opting for the pills too.
The doctor said it would be literally bucket fulls of blood this far in tho & I would probably need to do it in hospital as the contractions can be very painful. I'm so shocked they didn't tell you this!
It sounds so awful, I'm so sorry you are going through this, I hope it eases up soon for you or the EPU can help you out
