Ive just found out I'm 5ish months pregnant

Congratulations, it hasn't happened to me but two of my friends got quite far along in their pregnancies without realising. One was about 7 months when she found out and the other only had a few weeks to prepare! She hadn't been feeling well and they thought she might have had a kidney problem, gave her a scan and found out she was pregnant lol.

Congratulations Always amazes me how people can get so far into it without any knowledge at all. Lucky buggers skip all the symptoms! I bet if you found out sooner, you'd have noticed things more and probably looking back on everything you'll think "oh so that's why..." I hope all goes well with your appointments.

A friend of mine was 24 weeks without realising, it wasn't until she saw movement.

Congrats sweetie!! My mom had something similar in her 2nd pregnancy. Negative prego tests, periods and finally when she was 5months along it was confirmed. She didn't feel anything but at the end of the 5th month had a hunch.

Can't wait to hear how your reveals go with the grandma's and with your fiancé.

My sister had a similar experience with her 1st son. 'periods' untill 7 or 8 months or could even have been the whole way thru but she didn't find out till around 7 months pregnant. She had been to the docs 3 times and he dismised it as nothing. It was only the last time she really put her foot down that she thought something was seriously wrong he ran some tests and examined her and told her she was about 7 months along x

Wow! Congrats! Is this your first baby? If I were you I would tell my hubby first before mom because he may need a sec to let the 5 months part sink in? I dunno.

My last period date was also Aug 17th, I'm Due May 24th and I'm 20 wks 4 days pregnant. It may be the same for you? I dunno! Good luck!

Wow! With my daughter, I didn't find out until I was in my 3rd month. I was like you, had light "periods" or so I believed. I had always been irregular at that time so it didn't phase me in the least and we had been moving. I wasn't taking prenatal vitamins or anything because I had been told I wasn't likely to have any more children after my son because of scarring on the ovaries causes by constant cyst ruptures. And lo and behold....I found out I was 3 months and we were quite shocked! I only questioned it because I started getting sick all the time and I hadn't had a cyst rupture.

I'm happy for you! I can just imagine the surprise. When you go in for your first ultrasound they may actually determine the gender already. How exciting! And I am glad to hear that you were taking prenatal vitamins in the process. My daughter didn't suffer from it (thank God!) but I certainly worried. Congrats!!! And you will have a VERY surprised fiance

Congrats! I could see how you didn't know if you've been lightly bleeding thinking that was your period. They have a TV show "I didn't know I was pregnant"!

Thank you guys! If I did it correctly my estimated due date is May 20th, (by using my LMP -my last normal one haha- which was Aug 13th) I am so shocked! Luckily I havent done to much bad stuff (except maybe not the best diet), as I havent drank at all, dont smoke, and havent taken any meds (well aside from Tums and prenatals) I just pray everythings alright with the baby and I, I will keep you all updated! (Hoping for a Girl!!)

Yes, based on your dates that would be your due date, they are exactly the same as mine and I am due May 20th so I would know lol.

Anyway, Congrats! I am a first time mother and the past couple weeks have been the most amazing to me with all of the movement etc...you are learning about your pregnancy at a very exciting time!

Congrats my best friend found out at 17 wks, she had a scan two weeks later expecting a little baby to see a 19w5d baby girl She had taken several test before getting back on birth control but she was already pregnant it just hadn't showed up! She's due in 9 weeks!

If anyone can believe it, and trust me when I say my family didn't, my cousin didn't know she was pregnant until she was in labour.

We have asked countless times how she didn't know and she does cop to a lot of denial, but also she was quitting smoking, working a lot trying to lose weight etc. Attributed the lack of regular periods to all that (she said she did have some periods). She is a curvy girl so she didn't notice movement she says, and I can say honestly no one in her family who saw her regularly knew. Wasn't until her mom took her to the ER cuz she couldn't drive due to stomach pain and saw her bare stomach it clicked. Her sons now 2.5 and totally healthy lol.

I guess it happens, congrats though!!
