Hi ladies – Any feedback would be so appreciated…
So here's the thing – currently in 1st IVF cycle. We are planning a 2 embryo 5 day transfer if there's more than 10 embryos by day 3, if <10 then a day 3 transfer. Went in for follicle count today and they told me I would most likely be triggering tomorrow for a Thurs retrieval. I am very concerned about my follicle count being that most of them are less than 10 mm… Here are my stats
2- 20mm
1- 19mm
1- 18mm
2- 15mm
15- <10mm
So it seems like I will only have possibly six mature follicles on retrieval. This concerns me greatly as not every egg is mature & not every mature egg fertilizes and so on.. Should I be worried about these stats? I am freaking out. I know it only takes 1, but I was hoping to have some to freeze. Is it possible to have more than 1 egg per follicle?
Also my estrogen was at 2910. So could this mean I have more mature eggs than the 6 most likely to mature?
Thanks ladies!

During my first IVF they told me that I only had 4 follies but more were hidden, as you can see in my siggy, when they got in there so there is def. hope. Good luck!

During my first cycle, I had 4 follicles that they thought were mature and they managed to retrieve 3 eggs- 2 of those eggs fertilised, 1 was transferred and I got a BFP. Don't count yourself out just yet.

Thanks so much for the encouragement ladies! On the day of my trigger I just had blood work and they told me my estrogen was 4010, so I was hoping there'd be a few more hiding in there. Anyway, today at retrieval we got 12! I will find out tomorrow how many were mature and how many fertilized.
Thanks again, it's def nice to have the support of others online who can relate to the whole IVF/fertility thing!

Wow, 12 is a great number. We managed to get 12 the second time around- of those 12, 10 fertilised, we had one transferred, and now have 4 embryos frozen. As you can see from my signature, I'm now 29 weeks pregnant with a little boy.

Good luck x
