IVF and weight loss

Hi girls...

I have known I need to have IVF for the past 2 years (we have been TTC for 8 years.) My doctor has told me, for a referral in my local area, my BMI needs to be between 25-30. I'm currently at 31.
Has anyone else been through a weight loss plan whilst TTC?

Looking for lots of inspiration to keep me going ready for January!
I'm hoping to loose 1.7 stone by May next year.

Hi, you definitely will, hun! I know this is vitally important to keep the weight in order before and while going through the procedure. I have never experienced the trouble myself. But read pretty much about the close tie between extra lbs and conceiving chances. I just wanted to add if only this was the only problem for struggling laddies. I'm sure there would be much more success stories here.. Hoping for better and thinking of you. You're a lovely brave lady, I'm sure you'll manage to do it!
