IVF Bourn Hall Clinic Cambridgshire. Any experiences?

Hi ladies

Me 23, DH 26 have been TTC #1 for 3 yrs with no sniff of a BFP, unexplained infertility??? We have been referred to Bourn Hall Clinic for IVF our first appointment is a group seminar on 3rd march for treatment to start in April. I was looking for anyone who is going through/will be going through/has gone through treatment at Bourn hall and your experiences. Thank you

Bourn hall is a wonderful place- for the reason you go there there couldn't be a better setting.
My fiancé and I had ivf treatment there in autumn 2009. All the staff were very kind and we felt really cared for. The first seminar was quite informal with a group talk from one of the specialists and you are given an information pack. The second appointment with a specialist - Mr Matthews in our case was very in depth with him asking our full histories and ending in an appointment to start the treatment depending on my cycle - luckily for us it was perfect timing and we started that day.
Throughout all the visits my fiancé said he felt very involved which we were worried about him being ignored as the infertility issue was with me.
