IVF Clinics

Hi,

It look like I will be starting my IVF journey a lot earlier than expected.

I have narrowed it down to 2 clinics and just wondered if anyone has heard of them or used them and their opinions. They are the Agora Clinic in Hove and the Esperance Hospital (Sussex Downs Fertility) in Eastbourne.

Hi

I have no experience of either of the clinics I'm afraid. The only advise I can give is to check out their success stats and see if you can pop along to visit. Many of them do open evenings. It's good to get a feel for the place and the people.

Thanks Mrs G, I went to the open evening at the Agora on Weds and was impressed, I am going to the Esperence on 01/08 to meet the nurses and have a look around.

Both have very similar sucess rates. The Agora is a satellite clinic for the Lister too which can't be bad.

Hi Krissi For which year did the stats show success rates? I don't know the figures for the Agora, but I know the Esperance had excellent results last year, but don't think these have been published yet.

In any case both clinics are good ones. The Esperance got the NHS contract for the local area against a number of other providers, so definitely offer a reliable service. You can send me a private message if you want more specific details.
