Hey ladies.
Yesterday, after 13 days of stimming on our first ivf round, the doctor recommended we cancel our cycle. My protocol started 150 iui bravelle, 150 iui of menopur... after 7 days I increased to 225iui bravelle, and then 2 days later up to 375iui of bravelle. I had 3 mature follicles after 13 days, but tonnes that seemed to not respond, he called it a double cohort. He suggested we cancel and retry, starting at a higher dose next time to have better results.
SO, I was devastated, obviously, as I am sure lots of you can relate to all to well. I asked if we could switch to IUI, and he agreed (though somewhat reluctantly). I triggered last night and will head in tomorrow for IUI. Has anyone taken similar paths?
