Ok, i had written a birth story in 3rd tri thought would put it properly in here too 
Baby Jacob Samuel 9lb1
I was due with my 3 rd baby boy on the 2nd of sept. On sunday 8th at about 2 in the morning I felt a tightening across the bottom of my bump (not unusual been having them for weeks) as i turned in bed felt a wetness at the top of my leg. Went to bathroom and wiped lots of clear looking watery discharge with lots of light pink mixed in.
From then on kept having irregular tightenings from my back to front, some quite painful.
At about 10 am I rang labour ward as had quite alot of wetness/pink when I got up smelt very sweet and thought maybe I had a leak in my waters. Was hoping they would say monitor it as want wanted my contractions to build and become regular but no they wanted me in to check if it was waters.
Went in, showed my sanitory towel(lovely) they did the usual checks..eventually decided it was my waters so booked me in to come back at 10 pm for induction.
Contractions grew through the day but struggled to become regular, very painful at times anywhere from 5 to 15 mins apart lasting from 30 secs to over a minute. Baby was back to back so all in my back..ouch!!
Anyway by 7.30 decided enough was enough and headed to hospital.
Painful contractions were making me need to stop and breath through them.
mw came in and said she was sure I was in early labour but may as well stay there as booked in for a couple of hours time anyway. Se offered to give me a sweep as she said she was super at them
Was 2-3 cm but v favourable and she reckoned that i wouldn't need the inductions. She was so nice and supportive and suggested the pool for my back pain, decided to try and was so nice. So happy we had a water birth now.
After a while in the pool with extreme pain i got some gas and air..mw and hubby sat talking for the whole time.
By 10.03 I felt the pushing sensation and my main waters popped followed by a strong contraction and push and his head came out. Next contraction out pushed his body..pushing stage was about 4 mins!!
Had a lovely time feeding in the pool, delivered placenta on the bed and needed no stitches. Mw left us for some family time, had some lovely toast and a bath and went home a couple of hours later..was perfect!!
