Quinn sees pediatrician wds for the reflux....cant wait~!!!!!

Hi ladies I'm probably just being paranoid or something but im slightly concerned about Hayley's feeding this afternoon. She fed at 12:30 for an hour and then again at 4:00 for 55 minutes. This is unusual for Hayley aha she usually feeds for 15-20 minutes, burps and then falls asleep. After the 12:30 feed she fell asleep but after the 4:00 feed she came off and was crying. I squeezed around my nipple to see if milk was stil coming out and nothing came out, I grabbed the pump and it was flowing nicely. Hayley is still whimpering and making a fuss as if she is hungry. I've re-latched her but she comes straight off and crys. I haven't got a clue what's wrong. Has anyone got an ideas or tips?

My DD does this often as well... sometimes her latch is not right and she can't get the milk out. I will then express the milk and bottle feed it to her. She takes it down so quickly and will be content after that. Unfortunately, she's now preferring the bottle over me  I will still feed from the breast and she'll fuss and cry, but I'll persevere until she starts suckling right... mommy wins in the end (sometimes... lol)

Jade I keep seeing your boys in clothes my boys have too :haha:

Sleep was nice last night 10-2.30 then 3-7

Well we are still getting the tummy cramps but since he strated new meds J is much happier and smiles all the time. The hours and hours of screaming seem to be going :happydance:

Sar how did you wean Joe off the gaviscon? Doc told me to keep using for now but just curious how you decided to try without?

Mostly Debenhams stuff? :)

Hey!
Went for post natal today. Fearne weighs 11lb 1 now and is 60cm so over 91st centime for length she half way between 50th and 75th for weight so looks like she will be tall like me! They wouldn't do injections because she not 8 weeks until tomorro, very annoying it was only 13 hours off! Got to go next Monday now. X

thats madness Jo! She is a fantastic weight though WTG!
I thought of you this evening as Joe is in bed and so is OH and all I can hear is him snoring  on the monitor Grrrrr!

My doctors/health visitors never measure toby! I would love to know how long he is but I find it really hard to measure him as he just crunches up lol!

Last night was ok again. Down by 10 then he woke up at 1:50 but I ignored him as he wasn't whimpering, just making noises and clucking his tongue and I just turned over and went back to sleep. If he had kept on doing it I would have got up honest lol. Then he woke again at 3:30, went down at 4am an fussed for a minute till I turn the bathroom light off then he woke up when we did at 7am! He's napping again now and he didn't have his bottle till 8am. I'm going into school today with him for the first time. So excited to see the kids!!

Need to speak to my head teacher about my job situation too. It isn't looking good at the moment for me going back in september on a job share basis. I'm gutted.

xxxxx

Lol sar if it carries on just threaten him, it's funny how Paul has stopped snoring since I nearly shaved his brow! I swear he can control it!

Good luck with job meeting Leanne hope you can work part time x

Jo great weight gain for Fearne. Cant understand the jabs as Alex was booked in at 7 wk + 6 days originally?

I just spent the last hour massaging the biggest amount of snot and bogies out his nose so the poor little man can breathe and feed properley. He is happier now but still stinks! wish he would pooh every day! Waiting for the big one is horrible and he smells like the bloody sewers! :haha:

The HV booked me in knowing how old she was it was the practice nurse that wouldn't do it!

eek, are you lining his seats with sheets ready? you know it will be a swimmer or a armpit reacher at the very least! hope he's happier now he can breathe for a bit!

Fearne has a big green nostril full that she sneezed out then sucked back in before I got the wipe on it, I'm waiting for it to reappear lol. Oh the joys of motherhood, its a glamourous life!

Are we arranging another meet for in a few weeks time? I might mention it over on fb? x

Thats good news Sarah. Your birth experience from reading your birth story sounds very scary and traumatic. Hope it is helpful for you :hugs:

WooHoo!! Maybe you guys can get my little peanut on a decent sleep schedule! lol... At least I'm getting one 5 hour stretch now! :)
