You saving for potential 3rd baby sam and jade? all mine are going: friend, charity or eBay! Only keeping sentimental pieces and some newborn things for her future dolly x
i keep sorting clothes out into keeping and ebay. I have a massive box full of things to keep, which is now full and a suitcase full of stuff for ebay, i will get round to it one day!
Same with us Jo, I had originally washed and then vac packed the newborn stuff to hold onto and yesterday I decided that as we arent having anymore im going to hold onto the outfits and snowsuit/coat and pass them on to friends of ours. One is due 4th July and is team another friend of ours is due 26th October so the snowsuit/coat will go to them whether baby is boy or girl as it is white with silver stars on from next. Whoever has the girl gets the newborn outfits. Will do the same with 0-3 and eventually 3-6. Wont pass vests or sleepsuits on as they are bobbled and some (pink ones) have faded.
Cant believe I get my answer in less than 4 weeks now about the hysterectomy. We discussed it with the gynae consultant at my appointment last Tuesday and although he didnt give a defenate yes or No he wants to give this new tablet 4 weeks to see whether it makes a difference. If it makes no difference then we will go down the surgical route. Whether that is a laparoscopy to remove endo or an ovariohysterectomy. Personally I hope it is the second option although I would prefer it done laparoscopically as I already have scaring there from previous laparoscopies.
That's a bit of a worry hanging over you rach, I guess you have had this worry since hayley's birth tho so an answer in 4 weeks is a good thing! Will the surgery take away the pain you have been in?
I was just saying on birth board from Corey I'm not planning on more children but it makes me feel sad and it would be great to have an accident in a few years! Shocked myself saying that because 2 children is quite enough! Lol. I always wanted to foster or adopt when my kids were older but Paul doesn't like the idea which is weird as he was adopted?? X
Rach must be a hard decision even if you have decided no more children. I know im usually a never say never sort of person. Im happy with my 2 but future can change I guess.
Fraggles thats exactly what my mum said to me today. Dont you want another baby, dont rush into it, make sure it is what you want more importantly but also what is right for you and Luke. She had a hysterectomy when I was 5 (she was 35 at the time) and she told me today that she regrets her decision as she always wanted another baby. After the scare in April I thought I had definately made my mind up but there is the prospect of having it down and then never being able to have more children. Its kind of final then.
Jo - yes it would get rid of the constant pain im in, the depression (which the drs have now put down to hormone imbalances and also issues at the moment with family) the long periods, pmt etc and the removal of both ovaries should get rid of the PCOS and its awful symptoms. My weight, dark and hairiness should go, my spots and thinning of hair and general mood should improve as well.

Only one thing worked for my niece. You leave for a whole day and a trusted slightly mad for offering individual perseveres thru the crying until they take it. My sister tried every trick in the book before she had to return to full time work. Remember it's not that he can't suck a bottle it's because he would rather have his lovely soft mummy! Just keep at it hun he will get the message eventually I know it's hard xxx
try lots of different bottles! my LO would not take anything but the Tommee Tippee's at first, now she could care less and takes them all... (pretty soon I'm going to introduce a sippy cup, and then all hell is going to break loose... lol)
I like Fraggles advice of latching on and then offering a bottle too. I would have never thought of that!
Thanks ladies. I have been letting him play with the bottle and he will put it in his mouth like he is chewing so we are getting there.... better than frenzied crying like before. I cannot understand it, he used to be fine but i think its cos he hasnt had one in prob 5 or 6 weeks. I want to introduce one or 2 feeds a day that I dont give/bottle.
Gonna keep trying, thanks ladies!
If you find a bottle he will drink out of let me know what it is. Hazel flat out refuses to drink from any bottle I have tried or any sippy cup! I tried leaving her with Mum and a bottle when I went to the hairdressers and she went 7 hours without milk as she totally refused the bottle. It means I can't go anywhere at night without her!
Won't Alex have expressed milk then either? Fearne is getting fussy about a bottle again but prob because she hardly had any lately. She will only have a couple of ounces too but she don't mind medela bottles. Hope Alex and Hazel give in soon x
Hayley is still in the nipple only club. I've given up trying now. When we start weaning I'll try her with a doidy cup. Almost 5 months of doing every single feed and although I'm proud to have managed this long just one feed off would be nice and then I can go out without Hayley or having to rush and go, do what I need and be back before she next needs feeding. We have been on every 2 hours including the night for 2 almost 3 weeks now. Would love to get some sleep.
