Jesse - Ok for a boy?

What do you all think of the name Jesse for a boy? also do you think it's too american to have in the UK?

Surname will be Walker

My OH is a Jesse (thus my username) and I think it's an amazing name. He's a hippy country boy musician who lives by his own accord.

I just suggested the name Jesse to someone on here the other day - I really like it for a boy. There have been a few Jesse's on reality tv in the past few years - all good looking men. I have only met one Jesse in real life though (i'm in the US). Not overly popular here at all.

I like Jesse too! I'm in Australia. I also know a Jessie in real life who is a girl. I think it's the "ie" that makes it more girly than Jesse.
