When is it ok to use these for nappy changes? They say created for newborns but I know midwives say cotton wool and boiled water only!
Also when can you start using the first touch barrier cream or sudocrem?

I used wipes from the start the ones specifically for newborns and I used sudocrem from birth too!

We used water wipes or cloth wipes with water only for about six weeks but know plenty of people who used normal wipes after a week or so. Barrier cream we never really needed until he started teething and would always have a tiny bit of redness round his bum after a poo.
Honestly with a newborn I would say only use what you need to, if LO starts looking a bit red when you are changing a nappy then use a barrier cream of not don't bother.

I used cotton pads and water for the first six weeks, I found spray bottles really handy for this. I also only used sudocrem when needed, although I find Vaseline works better
