July C-Section?!

Anyone else having a C-Section in July?


Mine is 6 weeks and 5 days away and its seeming very close now.

I've not got my date yet. I have to wait till I'm 36 weeks to be booked for when I'm around 39 weeks

I am, mine is July 8th, does anyone know what would happen if I went into labour before then? I just can't imagine making it to July 8th. I am tire, in pain and have constant Braxton hicks.

I think if this happens they will try and do an EMCS, this is what I have been told x

Oh that sucks! I kinda pressured my consultant for a date as i like to plan everything.. x

Ooh not long now!.. I was told if i was to go into labour that i would be done as an emergency

I know! That's how they work at my hospital though I'm hoping they don't change their minds & say I have to have a vaginal birth

I have a large labial hernia from my DD & in a lot of pain from it. They said at 26 weeks I could have one but I had to wait till 36 weeks for a date. Just scared now that they'll say I should try for a vaginal birth. It's so painful to have a pee or open my bowels so would be horrendous for a vaginal birth. I just want a date

I'm supposedly having a csection at 39 weeks but I don't get booked in til 36 weeks it would be nicer to have a bit more notice to plan.

5 weeks today until my c-section!... that's only 35 days Out of my 4 pregnancies this one has been the quickest feeling. I cant wait to meet my baby x

Hi Ladies,

I am having a C Section on the 4th July.
Baby is lying bridge, and the growth scan marked me to be 36 weeks 5 days yesterday, she already weighs 2.8kgs.

Only 3 more weeks for me....

Has everyone got their bags packed and ready to go? I've just got to grab some snacks for afterwards and then I'm done. I have some dried fruit and fruit bars, but want some rice cakes etc. Nothing worse than being starving hungry during a night feed x

I have my bag just about packed, need to add some snacks, water & that's it I think. Not packed baby's bag yet as I need to wash his or her clothes. Will be done in the next few days x

I need to grab some water too, I have a couple of the Robinsons juice shots to try out. Oh and need to get peppermint cordial to help with the trapped wind.. it's all so close now that it's a little scary lol x
