July Mommies?

The only symptoms I have are...

missed period and +HPT
bloating
feeling of a pulled muscle in tummy
sore boobs
and waking up without fail at 5am for the toilet
 
I am due on July 14th '08
I've only known for 3 days and it's going so slow. I'm so excited I just wanted it to go quicker!
 
Hi Guys, well no morning sickness yesterday but the insomnia has started.....couldnt sleep a wink last night.......grrrr............it still feels weird.....like um......like its not real......i am sooo soo so so so desperate to see the midwife to make sure everything is ok and to have it all confirmed by a professional rather than by peeing on a stick!!!! im so nervous too - its my first baby, that sounds sooo weird......has anyone got any advice or tips that they have heard/read etc that we should/shouldnt be doing at this stage? i was told not to eat pepperoni, chorizo, eggs or soft cheese and to start taking vitamin supplements so im on those pregnacare tablets which i got from tesco's (uk supermarket).......its so nice to be able to talk to other mums in exactly the same situation, whether ur in us, australia or uk.......we're all the same!!!!! and i have a feeling we are gunna need each other!!!!!! :) x

Here's some of the advice that I have collected so far...

no raw meats, or unpasturized foods (pasturized soft cheeses are fine)

limit your caffiene intake (no more that one cup of coffee/tea per day)

take a folic acid supplement **very important**

if you haven't already, start a gentle exercise regieme, daily walk, swim etc. It gets your body prepped for the physical strain of the upcoming months and labour

for nausea, eat small quantities of carbs all day and sucking on peppermint candies can help with the vomiting

Eat well, you and your baby need all the nutrients you can get into you!
