Hi ladies. How surreal is it to be here in 3rd tri?

I'm Rachel, due the 7th July but also hoping for a 38 weeker as I'm looking forward to getting some sleep again. I know that sounds ridiculous given that we will have a newborn but I mean it in a getting comfortable sense. I just can't get comfortable and it means I'm not sleeping. I might be up with a newborn but at least when I do get to go to bed, I can sleep on my front, back, right or on my flipping head if I want to!!!

Peanut is our first baby and neither of us can wait to meet him or her. It still feels unreal that we're going to be bringing home a baby. The room is ready-ish in so far as we've got most of the main stuff. The cot is up, the rocking cradle is placed in there but will be moved into our room after the birth. We still need to buy the chest of drawers and then I cam actually start to organise the room. Right now all of Peanut's things are piled up in the cot. Once I get the chest of drawers up and the stuff organised then I can get stuck into the fun part. Buying the curtains and other soft furnishings and actually making it into a proper nursery.
I finished work on Thursday at 30 weeks and have been putting off finishing Peanut's room in order to have a project to work on!
I won't be returning to work. Any other first time stay at home mums?

Lawa. We're using reusables too!!!
We alto bought our monitor last week. Hubby loves a good gadget so we got the Samsung Video Monitoring System. I quite fancied a digital one but would have been happy enough with an analogue, but Hubs wanted the video one. We ended up buying one more pricey than we'd planned but it had the best reviews. They were pretty unanimous for the Samsung whereas all the others were 50/50.

Forgot to say. I'm hoping for a natural water birth at our local birthing centre but my 20 week scan picked up placenta previa so I have a scan next week at 32 weeks to see if it's moved. If it has, then I should be good to go for my preferred birth, if not then I'll be having a C-Section. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Good Luck Hun!

I have a Bum Genius V4 birth to potty kit!

I have a growth scan at 28 weeks (week Tomorrow) To check little one! And my GTT test this Friday!

Kinda late, but I'm due July 5th (though ultrasounds say July 1st) with my first- a boy! :)

I'm not even stressed about labor and the baby right now since OH and I are moving within two weeks of the baby's due date, so that's taken up all of my concerns. For this reason I'm hoping for a 38-weeker as well. I'll be 37 weeks on July 19th, Father's Day, so that would be a really fantastic day to deliver.

LO kicks so much I am almost afraid he's not resting enough lol He especially enjoys whacking my bladder a few times a day to scare me into rushing to the bathroom!

I'm due my second on 26th July. I'm hoping this one will be relatively on time like my first. Can't wait to meet them. :flower:

Does anyone else still not really feel pregnant?

I dont think I am big people say I look it but I dont really feel it?

I think with my AP I feel so few movements it really isnt feeling real to me ?

Hi im Claire and im due July 8th. My son came at 38 weeks so im hopeful for a June baby!
We have a blue bump and are naming him Bradley Joseph. This pregnancy really has flown. Its starting to get to the excited bit now, getting the nursery ready, thinking of packing my hospital bag :)
I do not want to wish this part away as dispite its difficulties I am enjoying being pregnant and its the last time I am ever going to do it so I want to make the most of it! Excited to meet our new son though and give Spencer a little brother. Not worried about the birth We coped quite well last time so fingers crossed all will run smoothly!

Lucky you finishing so early! I've got another 6 weeks :growlmad:. Even though I'm officially going on maternity I'd say I'm probably 90% unlikely to go back. Even though I could go part time, my commute is around 1.5 hours door to door so is just too much with a LO. I feel a bit weird about it as I do like my job and company but it's just really not practical. I'm keeping my options open though just in case I find I really do want to go back. I guess I'm slightly worried about slipping out of the network although I have never seen it as something I want to do for life. I have got a couple of ideas for things I can do from home for a bit of extra cash and to keep me feeling involved with something though.

i am due july 3rd and yea i put a thread up saying ''early july mommies, we could have our babies next month'' lol

Hi all :flower:

Luvbeingamum please put some pictures from your 4d scan on here, I loved mine so much and still look at the pictures all the time

Florabelle I would love to be a stay at home mum but can't afford to. I am quite lucky as both me and my hubbie work at the same school and so will be able to leave by 4 every day and every 6 weeks we have either one or two weeks off.

letstryagain gorgeous name!! We have picked ours and am so worried someone may use them before us as there are still quite a few people at work who are due before me.
:hugs: xx
