My little girl was born yesterday at 8.02pm weighing a tiny 6lbs 7oz. Totally not the delivery we had planned as it was induced, epidural and forceps in the end but she's more than worth it. She is nameless at present and I'm trying to negotiate my way out of the postnatal ward hell later if madam will have a feed. Will post pics soon. Thank for the support.
 
congratulations hun :hugs: sorry it wasn't as you planned but glad your both ok. Hope you get to leave soon and be sure to update us with her name! :hugs:

Think I was still very sleep deprived when I wrote my announcement. Xander was born on 28th June at 5.44am. It says 26th on the first page. He weighed 6lb 11oz.

I LOVE updating the list of the babies that have been born, it makes me so happy :') Can't believe nearly all of us will have our babies by the end of the month! Yayyyy!
 
So, definitely thought I was in labour yesterday, had contractions every 10 minutes lasting about a minute each for 2 hours then had a bath, they went. Woke up at 2am and had even more contractions until 6am but today all I've had is BH. I think she's trying to get mummy's hopes up ;)
 
Ugh... So we avoided our induction because he is back up in the 25th percentile but now he is breech and we are prob going to end up with a c-section if he doesn't turn. I have until next Wednesday to get him turned :( So not happy about this :cry:
 
Awww darlin that sucks, and I really hope he turns for you. Linzi I've had this for the past two days. She builds my hopes up and then when I start getting my hopes up and thinking this is it they stop...so frustrating. But midwife said with that, the amount of plug I've been losing and having a clearout etc she thinks it's the start of something and I probably won't make my next appointment. But they say that and jinx it so you end up making it lol x

I had the same thing around that time. I get horrible braxton hicks and pain in my cervix when I am up and moving around now but it never progresses far enough. Hoping if it gets started he will instinctively flip on his own :thumbup:
 
Officially a mamma on a mission! Logan is head down for sure! :happydance: Goin to drink my tea do lots of walking, bounce away on my ball and the other exercises I have and some other things too. I know there are certain foods some people swear by do you ladies know of any? I keep telling him how mommy can't wait to meet him and she wants him to stay how he is and come tonight :haha: I keep telling him I will do whatever he wants and he can be the fussiest baby ever mommy doesn't care if he just comes :haha:
 
We have decided to name our daughter Madeleine Grace. Unfortunately she doesn't really want to feed and we are stuck on the postnatal ward which is fairly tough going emotionally watching people arrive after us and leave before us. Feel fairly shellshocked and clueless but after getting a bit teary yesterday am getting lots of support from mw and feeding team. Hopefully it won't take too much longer for her to get the idea....

She is gorgeous congrats! Love the name too :happydance: I'm sure she will pick it up soon practice makes perfect :winkwink:
 
I'm sure she will pick it up soon....and she's just beautiful and the name is gorgeous.
