Just a bit of advice please...

Bella has a rash that is literally spreading like mad! It has spread from just being in the middle of her back to her sides and creeping onto her stomach and on her arms now. I know the obvious thing would be heat rash as it is similar (little red bumps) but she's only in a nappy and been that way since 12.30pm! She had an hour of nappy free time also and its still getting worse. Her temp. is 37.5 so have given her some calpol. She doesn't feel that hot anyway. Also she's extra sleepy today (although i put that down to the heat and very irritable) The rash does disappear under a glass so thats ok. Didn't want to take her anywhere only to be told that i'm an over anxious mum and its only heat rash

My LO has had something similar to that recently...it does look like heat rash...thats what i was told my son has however just to be sure you could always get intouch with a health professional...Hope LO is ok...Goodluck hun x

it does look like heat rash but it is better to be safe and feel silly than to be sorry. I would give the doc a call.

It could be heat rash - but PLEASE take her to the docs to make sure?

Took your advice and got her checked out, doc said its a severe case of heat rash and that despite us stripping her right off its unavoidable as she's got sensitive skin, bless her! Glad everything is ok though. Have given her more calpol and she's sound asleep next to me Thanks everyone who replied, Really appreciate it. Stopped me feeling like an over-paranoid mum!
