Theo's asleep (finally!) but I can't sleep despite being knackered lol. I napped with him middayish and it's messed up my sleeping pattern lol

Nearly Sunday...

I found out today that my "fraternal" twins are in face IDENTICAL!

DNA test was done on Monday!

I just HAD to log in to comment on that bombshell -

THAT IS AWESOME ARJ!!! How GORGEOUS. I am super duper jealous; we wanted identical twin boys. They must have split uber early to have looked like fraternal twins (different placenta, sac etc.). Was there a reason they tested?

So cool.

Happy almost Sunday.

Just finished painting the nursery. Have set up the cot and nursing chair. Putting in shelves tomorrow :-D

I thought fraternal from the fact they had seperate sac and placentas, but then everyone kept saying they looked ID! Then the more I thought about it the more it made sense. No twins in the family, the fact that they both wake and sleep in sync, and have pretty much stayed the same weight as each other every week, and a few similar features such as ear shape etc.

So I sent away swabs and $170 and with in a week DNA Diagnostics had sent me a letter saying they're identical!

I haven't heard from her since 11 last night. I assume that means things are progressing - hope she's ok.

As for sleep deprivation; my body is already preparing me I sleep about 4 collective hours a night now due to discomfort, sheer pain and also just plain insomnia.

But I've already won - see?

That sucks! Are you still at work or are you at home now??
Theo's great, really happy to say he's settling in to normal human life lol! In the hospital the midwives and nurses told me he was a fussy baby because the antibiotics made him feel poorly they assured me that as soon as he was off them he would get a lot better so you can imagine how worried I was when he didn't change at all lol!
Thought he was going to be fussy forever but luckily he's slowly becoming a bit easier

She's here! Liliana Marlene was born via c-section on Monday, 17th September. We're thrilled, overwhelmed, exhausted... Being a hormonal new Mum certainly isn't easy.
