T-minus 3 hours.

Kaida was very difficult to get down tonight She even resorted to crying. Hard. As usual she's asleep at 9pm. No matter what I do she sleeps at 9pm - bed by 5? She'll stay awake until 9. Bed at 8 - asleep at 9. I'm trying so hard to move it earlier as I'd like to eat dinner before 9.30 :/ I felt so bad tonight with her crying. Even giving her a cuddle she was crying. I hate when she's overtired because there's nothing I can do.

Hearing them cry is awful... Liliana just dozed off for a nap but kept 'waking up' again and again (startle reflex-like) before she finally drifted off. Hasn't done that before.
Here's to hoping our LOs sleep through those damn fireworks tonight.

She got through the 9pm fireworks session. I think she'll be sound through the midnight ones. Once she's down she's bomb-proof. Last night we unpacked a box and dropped stuff everywhere and she didn't flinch haha.

9pm for the families so kids can go to bed. Then the midnight ones for older people and irresponsible parents ;-) We'll take Kaida to the midnight ones next year
