I'm assuming it does lol. I don't know for sure, but it would make sense. A woman's body just knows when she is pregnant, so once that egg is fertilized and implanted, the O process stops for awhile

Yes, the production of progesterone tells the body to stop releasing eggs. This is why many birth control methods contain progesterone.
