Just back from hospital

    Sorry, im just having a moan!! Rang up hospital on Thursday night as I had a bad pain on my left lower back. Went in to be examined and have only got out today after being diagnosed with a kidney infection/UTI. Codeine made me throw up all day so by last night I was in agony in my back so they gave me an anti-sickness injection and pethidine. OMG!!! Never again am I having pethidine I was so so dizzy falling about everywhere, projectile vomiting and everything! Eugh!

    Oh you poor thing :hugs:

    still at least you know to avoid pethidine, don't want to be in labour AND ill.
    Are you feeling better now? i hope you are soon!

    A little better thanks, but don't feel great. Baby is fine though so that is the main thing. x

    Oh hun...

    I really feel for you with the whole pethidine thing....I had that during labor with my 1st, and it had the same effect on me. It will get better tho, I promise....and at least you know to avoid it when you have bubs!

    Pethadin is one of thoose awfull queazy drugs :( .
